Things We Missed

Between Idaho and Salt Lake, our lack of techological knowledge got the best of us and we nearly threw out the computer and camera.  But I think things have stabilized and this posting will send along a few pictures we took of our home in Idaho as we were leaving, snow and all,  and of Robyn's family in Montana.  We express great appreciation to Robyn for putting us up, feeding us, and for  her "tech support" in Montana as she fixed our blog design and made it possible to continue posting our experiences.

We also are posting a picture of Pam and I and our Stake President after we were formally commissioned as Missionaries. Also, Pam has mounted our Family Flag, created at our family reunion last summer, below the collage of pictures in our basement,

Upon arrival at the Salt Lake Valley, we stopped at the home of our good friends, Tanya and Tyler.  Tanya worked with Pam during our first Mission in Salt Lake.  We were invited for Sunday Dinner and it was a great event.  Thanks, Tanya and family, for great food and company.

Upon our arrival in Provo at the Missionary Training Center, we were sent to a very wonderful room in a new wing of the complex. It feels like we are in the Ritz-Carlton as honored guests.  We check in officially monday morning, at 10:30, and our training time will begin.  Sunday night, we attended a very wonderful Fireside where all 2000 of the Missionaries here sang songs and listened to Alex Boye, a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir from Nigeria, tell of his life story.  It was most inspirational, and he sang some of his favorite songs. What a great voice.

Well, time to add the pictures, then off to our training.   Love to all.
