In preparation for our Mission, we met with our Stake President, who is a church leader in charge of about 8 separate wards or congregations. It was necessary for us to receive our authority to act as Missionaries from him, and that is done in a formal setting attended by members of the family who can attend. Our daughter Tracy and her family attended the event along with Pam and I, and we took this picture afterward. Ignore the date stamp on the picture. The camera insists in placing this legend on every picture we take. I am going to resolve that problem soon, but for now, know that the picture was taken Thursday evening, just before we departed.We left bright and early Friday morning and spent the night in Montana with our daughter Robyn and her family. Saturday morning we left for Salt Lake city and had good weather all the way to Idaho Falls, where we will spend the night.
